PAT'S REVIEW
Beth Andrews is bitter from her divorce, and also, she is bitter from her lack of being satisfied by the men that she has dated since then. Especially her last man who only talks of finical, stocks, and earnings. When she gets him off yet won’t return the pleasure that night becomes more unbearable when her upstairs neighbor will not be quiet especially with the number of times, he and his date are still going at it. She has also noticed since she cannot sleep the women are different than the last one. A few days go by and low and behold her upstairs neighbor is standing in front of her after knocking at her door. Wanting to introduce himself with a bottle of wine she decides to let him in and the next thing she knows they are moving from the couch to the bedroom. After telling him she needs a break he tells her two hours and when she hears a noise she is awakened. Remembering what Johnathon said about setting an alarm she is surprised he actually did. She is surprised that he is attracted to her and though he leaves for a business trip when she arrives for his art show they spend an hour together making up for the lost time. You get the feeling that they are both into each other and once it begins to grow a misunderstanding by Beth leads to a breakup for a short bit. She still has her fears and insecurities from her past marriage and divorce once she realizes her mistake will his youthfulness allow him to accept her forgiveness or will it be too prideful and ruin a good thing that they had. Read this good story with good characters and is also a quick read. I received this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 4 stars. Follow us at www.1rad-readerreviews.com |
