MY REVIEW:
This is a feel-good kind
of story with a sweet cliffhanger, which I’m not mad about. I know this was a
prequel to their story. This is one where you are rooting for the couple to
finally get it together and kiss already.
Two people who grew up
together. Cooper is Violet’s older brother’s BFF. But she was always included
only being a year behind the two and her love of football. This being Coop’s
sport, playing for the San Francisco pro team, was a huge plus.
She loves talking strategy
with him and he loves how she is a sponge that remembers it all. She’s never
told him about her madass crush on him. She has had it since the second grade. To
keep their friendship which she cherishes she will keep quiet.
Yet, ever since her
brother’s wedding Coop looks at her differently and she is afraid to ask why.
In case, it’s bad. A charity auction changes everything so now we wait. I would
