MY REVIEW:
When you are pressed for
time and could lose your job if you’re late again, what do you? What can you
do? What should you do? When you see someone stuck on the side of the road.
For Ginny, on a hot Texas
highway, with little to no traffic and for sure no cell service since there are
no towers in town. With a well to do stranded motorists doing the cell phone
tower shimmy. She stops to help.
She is a plus-size curvy
girl with a knowledge of cars & a sassy personality. She is someone who
after a tornado tore through their hometown had to put off school to help out
her parents. She, her folks, & brother lost it all & her dad was injured
during it trapped for eight hours with a car on top of him.
She helps this stranded
man who seems to think his flirting is okay, but she does not. Not because she
doesn’t like it. Only because she has been hurt by guys, rich guys, and the
town them all bullying her about her weight.
Therefore, not believing
when men like Hawk, who just may be speaking the truth, ask. Well, it is not
the norm. So, when they meet again, he is pushing harder for a date. She won’t
have it.
For a short BBW, this was
a good story. Yes, someone close to Hawk bullies her causing a huge rift. This
author has you on a roller coaster of emotions for and against this cast of
