Nick: As one of the New York Nighthawks, I’ve got it all: fame, success, wealth, plus I’m handsome as hell.
As for my relationships? They could be better.
I know how to do one-night stands, but I’m starting to crave something more.
Then I meet Camille Benetti.
She’s sexy, smart, sarcastic—totally my kind of girl.
The only problem? Cami doesn’t date hockey players.
But she’s never met me. . . .
Cami: Nick George is impossible to resist. Not only is he scorching hot, he’s kind, he’s funny, and he wants me bad.
But I learned my lesson the hard way: no jocks.
So why do I agree to be Nick’s date to the wedding of the year?
One night . . . that’s our deal.
He is the best man, after all.
But Nick is crystal clear about his intentions. He wants a relationship.
And he’s tempting me to break all my rules. . . .
PAT'S REVIEW
Nick needs a date for the wedding from the first book. He meets Cami who finally agrees to be his date but just for the wedding. Her rule is no hockey players. Her problem becomes is she agreed to go with Nick. At the wedding they hit off he finds her sarcastic, funny, and unapologetic about her choices. What she won’t tell him is why no hockey players. Nick the “Dominator” is known for finding out things about his opponent that he can tell him throughout the game that will get into his head and make the other guy throw off his game. Now he is working at what makes her tick, why the no hockey players, but also what she likes. He begins to wear her down. Cami wants to stay away from Nick but it becomes difficult because he is making himself likable and more attractive to where she can’t find a reason to stay away. The characters are good as is the story, a very good book. I received this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 4 stars. Follow us at www.1rad-readerreviews.com |
