I’m Archer.
I’ve been in trouble plenty but I got these bad boys from home.
Emily looks so good handcuffed to me.
This is the only way I could think to stop her.
She found out her mom was in danger and she ran away.
She wants to save her, but we’re at war.
Her brother, my best friend, told me I have to keep her safe.
He trusts me.
Unlike every woman I’ve ever met.
Maybe it’s because I don’t kiss. On the mouth anyway.
But Emily’s the only woman who’s ever stood up to me.
Her thighs keep grazing mine. Her long brown hair tickling my bicep.
Locking her to me and throwing away the key.
I didn’t think this through…
PAT'S REVIEW
This is the story of Archer. He is now to babysit Emily who is Niyol's sister. Emily from the first book has lost her fiancé which really is not a big deal but to her it is. She also has lost her mother who took off with her father who is the one after everyone in the club. She has been receiving letters from her for months but has not told anyone. One night when there is an explosion, she receives another one with instructions to meet. Leaving that night, she thinks she has gotten away only to be found by Archer. Instead of taking her back he decides to take her where she is to go and to put an end to all of this once and for all. What ends up happening is a face-paced exciting story that has many twists and turns and not just between the two of them. Archer finds out a lot from his past which started in Ireland and you really get a good story with him. Emily is faced with reality as well only in a different direction and she also sees that she really belongs to Archer, not that prick she thought she should have married in book one. Overall this was an outstanding book that really enjoyed it and all of the characters. I received this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 5 stars. Follow us at www.1rad-readerreviews.com |
