The first book in a new series Has Jethro Hansen working at keeping his ranch going. The same ranch that his grandfather left him when he passed. He feels guilty because he was left the ranch and his two younger brothers were left out. He also only has little work for them since he cannot pay every single time so they go find jobs elsewhere. He also is dealing with his past and the way he treated his grandfather when he was alive, so now he is working on changing.
Enter Sadie St. Martin who at one time interned for Layla Cox in Denver. Layla is now pregnant and needs help so Sadie is in town to help. She was not expecting a cowboy like Jethro, how he is so determined to do the right thing and asking for suggestions.
Sadie should be thinking about her job back in Denver and that is especially what her parents want. She though continues to think about Jethro and find ways to be with him. When everything finally comes to a decision it is really Jethro and does he want to accept her love into his life? Or will he let her go back to Denver?
