Ivan Bishop was working on a business deal and also planning on getting married when a bomb explosion left him disfigured and lost. Turning everyone away he even shut out the one woman he loved for the bomb killed her father. Now months later Isla MacDonald has decided she must move on from Ivan since he has shut her out from his life and she now must run her father’s company. Just as she thinks she is making some type of progress going out to a function he shows up. Ivan is there because as much as he wants her gone the pull of needing her is greater. As she makes him work for winning her heart back if possible there is also someone after her, stalking her and this part of the story adds to the suspense and keeps the story moving along. If you have read any of these other books you know what I mean. The characters are very good and overall a good book. I received this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 4 stars.
