PAT'S REVIEW
The second book in this moving series and it has Cash the brother wanting to be with Jordan but she is dealing with her own set of problems. Mainly her younger brother who is living with her and has started to hang out with the wrong crowd. When she finds out he stopped going to summer school because of a teacher is now really upset. Cash is drawn to her and wants to help and tries by talking to her brother. Want she wants to happen is for Cash to also open up to her about what is going on with him outside of work. When he doesn’t she decides to go out with the rest of the crew one night without Cash. Though she does not have a good time and misses being with him she lets him think she had a great time and plays it up to make him jealous. This works and he begins to open up about what is going on with and his brother and what happened in his childhood. This only makes her want to be with him more but Cash is still afraid. Jordan though is exactly what Cash needs and she is willing to poke the bear. Using her military police training she learned from the Army she will continue to poke the bear because she knows she will find her teddy bear and that is what she wants to be there for him as he is there for everyone. The difference is she is not leaving. A very good story and Jordan is an excellent character as is all of the other characters in this book. A very good read.
