| Kate the owner of the bakery in the third book of the series, has always had a thing for Todd Wyatt the younger brother and firefighter. She does not think she has a chance because one she is still a virgin and two he is not looking at settling down. She is wanting a guy who is at least wanting that in the future. Now though she is having unexplained happenings at her bakery. A break-in, her front windows broken and other things. Todd helps but that is it. When Halloween rolls around with the help of her friend she is red riding hood, and she does get taken by the big bad wolf. Kate likes it but Todd is the one that freaked out. When he starts to ignore her she decides to go out with safe calm Walt. That actually gets the smoke alarm going with Todd but will he put out the fire or will he be left standing. This is a very good story with a twist at the end with who is vandalizing her store. See what happens between the two of them. I received this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 4 stars.
