| This story starts off fast-paced and has Rory who is Amar’s body almost dying while protecting her. Now 11 months later after nearly dying she has shown up at his ranch asking for his help but not remembering much. Like they were dating, or many other things. She just knows she needs him. Against many peoples advice, he goes back to where he was nearly killed. The story at the mansion has him arguing with her at times, and her father. He is also trying to find out who is wanting to kill her still. They both are trying to figure out the other one and slowly throughout the story, Amar has bits and pieces of her memory coming back.
