MY REVIEW:

    I have had this book on my TBR pile for too long.  I have to say.  I totally enjoyed it. 

     All the characters are so endearing in a dysfunctional way but in a real way.  You have five loving brothers who are large growing alpha males.  Who were left by their father several years back when their mother passes away?  Leaving the oldest Paul to manage the care of all the brothers.

     The three older brothers have all worked the tattoo shop they own.  But Logan Reed got a full ride scholarship to NYU.  When the second eldest brother came down with cancer and couldn’t continue to work and help provide for the two twins who are seniors in high school and rent on the apartment and business Logan deferred the scholarship to help with Matt and the business.

     While working on this day a beautiful raven-haired beauty comes in wanting a tattoo.  She’s drawn herself and Friday the receptionist sends her to Logan since he is next in line.  She starts talking not knowing he’s deaf.

     Logan thinks Friday is once again setting him up with the many ones and done that come through the doors.  Especially, when they find out he has spoken in eight years.  They take it as a challenge.  So, Logan starts in the minute she gets his attention by acting like a truly obnoxious deaf person.

     Not only that he acts like a sleazy perv on top of that as well.  When his eldest brother whose station is right next to his catches wind, he tries to put a stop to it.  But before he can shut it all the way down, he sees kit rear her arm back and cold cocks him square in the nose.  Paul can’t say he did deserve it.

     When she turns and flees, she drops the tattoo and once he slows the blood from what both brothers think is a broken nose, Logan finds her tattoo drawing on the ground.  When he looks at it, he can see within its beauty there is some true deep a sorrowful pain.  Making him feel bad that she too feel bad and scared and mistreated.

     Now several days later, he runs into her in the subway.  He tries to communicate with her by writing but there is a problem.

     He gathers her things and walks off.  He can’t hear so she forced to follow.  Right into a diner when he sits, he points for her to sit too.  She says no.  He says yes.  The waitress comes he orders she finally sits and orders too.

     When finished he walks her out then plans to walk her home, but she won’t let him.  He has no clue she lives on the streets.  So, he follows her.  Realizing she stands in a sheltered line but finds there is no room.  She is so tired and cold she walks to a bench, sits, and she just breaks down.

     He sits beside her and says, “Come home with me.  She says, No! He says, Yes!  She says, Okay.  She’s just too tired and cold to argue.

     See how these two forges a friendship and a bond so tight that their individual acts of kindness impact each other so much it overwhelms even those around them.  With joy, they bring each other.  Make sure when you read this back to read the 1^st chapter of the next book to get more insight.
