Another good hockey story. This time it opens with one brother taking out another one. The one being knocked out of the game Asher Westmore was hurt before the hit but was still playing because he wanted to get to a milestone. In order to get to that he put himself and friends and staff in tough spots who were giving him injections into his knee until one hit and he was done. Of course he was blaming everyone else around him for his problem except himself for not taking care of the injury. The other person in the story is Emma Callaway who was once an Olympic gold medal athlete but because of an injury is now working towards being a physical therapist. She is also in love with Asher and when they added friends with benefits to their relationship it has made her loss focus especially now that he is injured. After surgery he only wants her as his therapist and as their relationship starts to change he pushes her in the wrong direction thinking what he is doing of course is right she walks away. Of course there is more to it but why spoil the story. He must come down from his high horse or not. She is accepted into a program in Florida and while she would like to stay in Colorado, or New Jersey where he lives he does nothing. No wait he does do something become miserable, more than when he was not playing. Can he pull his head out of his arse before it is too late? Read this story to find out.
