The second book in the series has Lanie Rodgers in town for her cousin's wedding plans and the opening of a new store for a company she works for. She is not looking forward to all of the festivities that go on with a wedding and though she wants to be with her cousin her cousin is always trying to fix her up with someone. Because of her always moving she does not feel like she has time for a relationship or a life other than her current job that she is trying to save. Now meeting the wedding party, of course, there has to be one gorgeous guy, and that is Tyler Norris who is also not with his own problems. One his younger brothers who is in high school has gone from straight A’S to doing nothing and the principal calls him because their father has basically checked out. Second his last women he was with six months ago he has a restraining order against and he has not gone out with anyone for 6 months, and for him, that is the longest time. When he sees Lanie he is attracted to her even after she takes him out with her shoe, and then hits him with her head. Even when she agrees to go out with him they are interrupted by his younger brother who proceeds to ruin his pair of shoes. The good part is that he opens up to Lanie and they actually start hanging out together more and he realizes that he needs to spend more time with his brother. He is also becoming more attracted to Lanie who is scared of the feelings that she is having, and now her job is also looking at being over altogether so she must start looking for another one. The same time Tyler tries to come up with a plan to show her that he is all in with her. The end of this book is good as is the entire story. This is a very good book.
