High powered Denver attorney Layla Cox gets more than she bargains for when she sets her sights on a sexy cowboy during her friend and client’s wedding. After a weekend of explosive and unforgettable sex, her tryst has consequences. She’s pregnant. Determined to provide a good life for her baby, she leaves her fast lane life to buy a practice in small town Marietta so her child can have some contact with his birth father.
Tyson Watson doesn’t know what hit him. After his brother’s wedding and the best weekend of his life with the woman of his dreams, he doesn’t hear from the beautiful lawyer again–until she arrives at his ranch, announces she’s pregnant, and tells him that she doesn't need anything from him. Too bad. Layla may be independent, but Tyson is stubborn and has no intention of falling in line with Layla’s plan.
Can two strong-willed people turn a weekend of passion into a lifelong love?
PAT'S REVIEW
This book was a fast read and the story for the most part was good. Layla Cox is a lawyer from Denver invited to her friend and client’s wedding. It is there that she meets and spends the weekend with cowboy Tyson Watson. Tyson likes Layla, but because his ranch and home are not up to the standards that he thinks she is looking for he lets her leave back to Denver without a word and does not contact her, and yet his older brother gets into his business between the two of them and causes problems. Layla ends up moving to their town of Marietta along with her practice because she finds out that she is pregnant and she what’s the father, and his family to be involved in the raising of her child. Tyson must get over his idea that he is not good enough for her and Layla must get over of always being in control. If they could work these two things out they can be together. Read this book and see how it turns out. A good book. I got this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 4 stars. Follow us at www.1rad-readerreviews.com |
