| This is the fifth book in the series and this one is about Owen Shaughnessy an astrophysicist, he is introduced to an artist named Brooke Mathews she is the niece of his mentor and the day of introduction Owen is tongue tied he cannot believe her beauty. Brooke an artist shows him some of her work of nighttime sky with stars and asks if she could go with him on his class to Red Rock Canyon in Nevada to observe the meteor shower and to work as his organizer to free up his time. He is upset with this idea like he needs help and feels like she would be a distraction. Even more, he is thinking about canceling the whole thing altogether. After talking to his mentor he realizes that he can’t even tell Brooke his answer and wants her uncle to do it. When he thinks that, that would be a bad idea this puts the two of them closer together to the point that she ends up going home with him. This is the first time that you see a side of Owen that you have not seen in any of the other books and when he gets into an argument with his twin he leaves the home with Brooke. He, of course, decides to take Brooke camping out in Red Rock before the class since she had never camped, and when they get back there is a problem with her uncle. You find out a lot about Brooke in this book and for the most part, you find out more about Owen as well. Especially when he decides to get a tattoo. They, of course, break up and do get back together that is always the beauty of these books along with the advice from their father. What I liked is the different twist with the ending that made this a unique story just for Owen. I really liked this one and not just because of the desert though it is great at night to see the stars. This was a very good book. I got this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 5 stars.
