HUBBY'S REVIEW:
The story opens with Fiona Logan going home and needing to admit to her family that her marriage is over and has been for a year. She is surprised by the driving conditions and when she ends up in a ditch it turns out that Jud Dawson was behind her and comes to her aide. The story picks up with the mom, and sisters getting caught up and Fiona helping and her mom’s store and she also gets a job in town helping someone with their books. Mainly though it is about Fiona getting past her failed marriage and Jud deciding to let someone in, in his life. They work this out with having to help an older couple whose home burnt down. Jud decides to help the man out at his place and slowly the man is warming up to him. So is the attraction between Fiona, and Jud, but when a job offer comes her way back to the big city she now must decide what she wants, and who she wants it with, and is she tired of running. A good fast paced story with good characters. I got this book from netgalley. I gave it 5 stars. Follow us at:
