HUBBY'S REVIEW:

This book starts off with Marlene the mother of four year old Nil, at work in a hotel in Seattle at the front desk and the person she is relieving telling her that they have a celebrity staying with them that she did not even notice when she walked in. his name is Luke Anderson, a rock star and the father of Nil and someone she has not seen in over four years he left a month before she gave birth. When he says hi she panic’s and runs to the bathroom and calls her best friend Camille, who talks her out and to face him. While they are talking another guy comes up named Finn and that is the guy she is dating right now. Does she love Finn, no. she is still in love with Luke and though Luke wants to get back together after being apart for four years she can’t help herself but think of the good times that they had when they were together. But between her grandmother, Camille, Finn, Luke, her mother, and of course her daughter she is confused and so many things are going on and you as a reader are going along and wondering if she is using Finn, maybe. Camille did something that I don’t know that many friendships would last regardless how long they had been friends, and then her grandmother confused her when she thought she had her figured out. The biggest thing was she was still in love with Luke but she had to work all of these things out. A very moving story with strong characters and it was well written because I was able to read it in one day. Overall a good book. I got this book from net galley.  I give this 4 stars.
