HUBBY'S REVIEW:

This was a very good book on an old story. The author breaks down the story by chapters and brings the story into today's world and connects it with the New Testament. Which is what most teachers of the Bible do. I just had not seen it brought forth in the story of Joseph. The author looks at how to be a better parent, by not showing favoritism to a child while neglecting your other children. That lying like the older sons did, did not gain anything for them. That when Joseph some 30 years later meet his brothers again he forgave them. That forgiveness is really the most important thing for us. To forgive as we ask God to forgive us and Jesus died for our sins so we may be forgiven. Joseph truly forgave his brothers and that freedom allowed him to live the peaceful life he felt. He was able to go through everything he did with a knowing it was OK. These were different ways that the story was broken down. I had never heard or read anyone go so far with the story. Made me look at it differently and that is a go thing. A very good book. I got this book from Net Galley.
