Sahara is coming home to help her grandmother who has Alzheimer’s. It is also the place where her fiancé left her two days before their wedding. She blames his best man Colton who should have been keeping track of him better. Also, Colton was the kid the bugged her all the way through school, pulling her hair when he sat behind her and other things just to irritate her. Now to make matters worse he is the police chief and she seems to be always running into him. She also cannot figure out why everyone likes him so much. You come to find out about Colton’s childhood and how now he is giving back to the community, and as Sahara begins to see him differently especially after they kiss one night you begin to wonder was he the boy who was in love with the girl when they were younger but didn’t know how to talk to her? Now as adults can they or she get past the past and the ideas one has for someone else and start fresh? That is what this book is about and is a wonderful story with many good characters.
