This book picks up where the last book ended. Plus you also get the back story of Connie Reyes who is now an attorney for a big law firm in New York, and Jonathon Pierce. Jonathon who has been disowned by his father now has started his own company and is very successful. Along with his partners, they are looking at building a new factory in the town he has always considered his home. Now he is on a mission to somehow convince Connie that she is the one for him. She is a tough one mainly because of her home life and because of that she likes to have everything planned out in advance. Now though as her job is not what she thought it was going to be and the idea of being with Jonathon, and a new job opportunity happening she is even thinking about walking on the wild side without a plan.
