Simple vibration and hand clapping dating back to the beginning of human culture eventually developed composition and performance of melodies for spiritual worship and entertainment, thus singing in Acapella harmony was born.

The author said that this book was or is supposed to for Doo Wop people, and Doo Wop lovers. As someone who enjoys that music. I have the 45’s yes folks 45’s Earth Angel by the Penguins, “In the still of the night” by the Five Satins, “Only you” and ‘’the great pretender” by the Platters to name a few. Man, there are so many there are so many the Diamonds, Skyliners, Del-Vikings, Impalas. To just name a few. So I was expecting more I guess even though the author said he was not going to write about his own life he did. I understood the time that went with the sinning or having to work between gigs, but there were times in this book that it felt like I got his whole life story with the music thrown in. Maybe it is just me. I did get the argument over the name and the way the author explained that was good and really added to the story. Overall a good book.
