He’s the hot quarterback all the girls want.
She’s the smart girl he loves to pick on.
And now that they’re all grown up, things are about to get geekin’ ugly…
My name is Tass. I’m smart, I’m driven, and I am determined not to let prankster Hunter Johnson continue raining on my parade. When we were little, he’d pull my hair and call me names. When we were teenagers, he’d throw food and tease me for being a flat-chested virgin.
But now that we’ve ended up at the same college, he’s out of his hot head if he thinks he can keep messing with my life. It’s like he’s fixated on me or something. Well, guess what, Mr. Amazefootball? I’m not that geeky little girl anymore and you do not screw with a smart woman.
So what’s my plan?
It’s definitely wild, and he’s about to find out…
MY REVIEW:
What an interesting story for sure a decade of miscommunication for sure. This is the story of Tassie and Hunter next door neighbors since preschool. Their moms used to trade of drop of and pick up off’s in fact. Then kindergarten came along and the two best friends lost their ability to communicate with one another.
From the first day on the hurt kept getting larger and larger. Each year the pain for Tassie became divots so deep it felt like her childhood friend was now her biggest bully.
When high school came it became unbearable. Hunter got the football team to help him to tease her, then the school to help, and so much more. She couldn’t stand it she chose not to do anything about it figuring ignoring it was the best way. It only seemed to make it worse.
The thing was for Hunter he was feeling his own pain from home then you had Tassie genius IQ and her always telling him he wasn’t as smart as her because he was a dumb jock and not worth her time anymore. But since he had been in love with her since they were in preschool like she was with him it hurt. So, he would create moments to get her attention.
So, she thinks she’s off Scott free going to college. To her surprise, she ends up at the same college as Hunter who is there on a football scholarship. No sooner does she show up there and he corners her in the middle of the cafeteria asking for a favor. Now mind you, she’s a virgin, so him holding her knees on his knees is the most action she’s seen ever. He needs a favor for pledge week. She is not going to like it.
When she finds out where she’s pledging wants to drop her for liking too much the interaction with Hunter in the cafeteria of which the Tri Kappas hate jokes and that’s what Hunter’s pledging in The Alpha Phis.
Things get crazy and now the two enemies may need to team up in order to not go against their moral companies. It’s about to get bumpy so fasten your seat belts.
