Rad-Reader:  Was this storyline from an experience of a crush in high school with a bad boy?

Cindi:  No, I actually always liked the nice guys. But I love me some fictional bad boys :) 

Rad-Reader:  Did Cam even know her before that night other than the girl with all the answers? 

Cindi:  No, not really. He noticed her in school and that she had all the answers & was intrigued, but that's as far as it went, because he wouldn't let her go there. 

Rad-Reader:  Why didn’t Emma go to Heath and tell him about Zoey since he was with her two BFF’s the singer and his fiancé?

Cindi:  Heath's book was just before this one, so he's really only been in town a couple of months, so while she's experienced guilt since he showed up, it's a secret she's been keeping for over two years. Even Emma's relationship with his fiance & her BFF is new & she's still sort of figuring that out. 

Rad-Reader:  Why didn’t Emma get honest with her grandma sooner?

Cindi:  She didn't want to hear I told you so, or for her grandma to know that she'd made such a reckless decision with the town bad boy one night. A lot of it was fearing she'd end up like her parents, too. So she just held it all in. 

Rad-Reader:  Her grandma was a pill.  She wanted better for her but she wasn’t helping.  Why was she so mean about it and embarrassing her while she was at it?

Cindi:  I think she's just got a fiery personality & is a bit bossy. She wants the best for Emma, but she thinks she knows best, and she's also trying to keep Emma from making the same mistakes her parents made. 

Rad-Reader:  What made Mr. Brantley finally stop drinking?  Did he marry his youngest son’s mother? 

Cindi:  In Heath & Quinn's book, you see his change of heart. He's still got some work to do & eventually, he and his youngest son's mother will work things out & get married. 

Rad-Reader:  Did Cam want Emma first just for the sex when he got back to the B & B?  Or did he already start having feelings for her upon coming home & by thinking about her?

Cindi:  No, he definitely knew there was more to her than their one-night stand & had always been intrigued. He just didn't think he deserved her. But the more he's around her, the stronger his feelings for her grow. 

Rad-Reader:  Had Cam experienced jealousy before with other girlfriends or just anger?  Why was Emma different?

Cindi:  He was probably a bit hot headed in high school. It was more juvenile jealous. When it comes to Emma, his jealousy is fuled more by his whole world slipping through his fingers if he messes it up. 

Rad-Reader:  Where did he think she would get an income once this job was over?  He made assumptions that she would do x, y, & z.  Why?

Cindi:  Again, he struggles to feel like he deserves her & that he can give her what she wants. 

Rad-Reader:  What did you want us to get from this story?  I seemed to find that we all have fears, it is what we choose to do with them and who we choose to share them with and walk through them with that is important.  That to me is what they were for each other and the love that grew from that and for their daughter was just a big huge plus.

Cindi:  I like the idea of second chances & finding out people are more than who they appear on the outside. Time has made both of them stronger and together, they're stronger & just better together. And having the whole family with their daughter is what they both truly want. 

Rad-Reader:  What did you want to do when you were growing up?  Was it always a writer for you?

Cindi:  Actually, I always planned to be a fashion designer. It wasn't until after I had my first baby that writing called to me. 

Rad-Reader:  How do you know when your story needs to come to an end?  Or when it’s too soon to stop or to long?

Cindi:  Well, I'm all about the happily ever after endings, so when they get their happy endings, that's when I wrap it up. 

Rad-Reader:  If your book was made into a movie who would you want to play…
