Nestled on the Maine coast, Blueberry Cove is a peaceful retreat compared to the excitement of exotic cities and foreign lands. But it’s also the best place in the world for one woman to find her heart’s true home…Kerry McCrae’s wanderlust has taken her to parts of the globe most people have only glimpsed in pictures. So why is tending bar at the family pub in Blueberry Cove after her Uncle Fergus’s stroke an easier adjustment than she expected? And why hasn’t she left once Fergus is back on his feet? When tall, tanned Cooper Jaxton walks through the door, she knows the answer in a heartbeat…
Born and raised deep in Australia’s outback, Cooper never planned to leave the wild country he loves. But after almost a year of having Kerry—with her sparkling eyes and outrageous stories—on his cattle station, Cooper was stunned when she left. Suddenly home wasn’t the same without her. Making his way to Blueberry Cove to find her is a risk, but Cooper is counting on the passionate connection between them to convince her that the only place either of them needs to be is together…

MY REVIEW:
The wanderer in Kerry McCrae’s has always
lived in her heart since she was a little girl.
You see at the age of two, she the youngest, her two sisters and a
brother, were all left orphaned when their parents died. So their grandfather was there to raise
them. His cousin came from Ireland to
help raise them knowing he would need a hand.
That was their Uncle Fergus. He
was a man of her same heart and spirit, a wanderer.
He was always telling about his great
adventures he had been on while he was carefree on his travels. All the fun he had out and about. Some funny, some sad, and some filled with
adventure. Kerry always knowing that is
what she wanted for they were kindred spirits.
So at eighteen in Fergus’s office she took
a dart aimed it at a map on the wall closed her eyes and tossed it. Where it landed is where she started her
great adventure. She has been traveling
ever since. At twenty-nine, she arrived
at the Jax’s Cameroo Down Cattle Station.
Only meaning to stay for a season until Jax’s youngest, Sadie thirteen,
asked for help with her homework. Then
she became a regular around the homestead which was unusual for the Jax’s as
well as Kerry.
Kerry’s season work turned into a year and
her friendship with eldest son Cooper Jax thirty-one, became one where she
started lusting after him. Unknown to
him for sure. Then one day she got a
note from home saying she was wanted home her brother was getting married. The next thing they knew she was gone.
The thing was Cooper had been gearing up
to declare his love. Too little too late
as they say. Does that ring a bell? Yet he doesn’t go after her thinking she
would come back. After a year his dad
buys him a ticket, telling him to go after her.
He does show up at the family pub, declares his love, and ask her in
front of everyone and she…
Can this be a way of life for Kerry? Or and ending of her spirit? Cooper is a man of honor and family will that
pulls. Will that bring him to Kerry or
also tear them apart? I give this 5++++
