HUBBY'S REVIEW;
This is a fantastic story about two people that have been friends since childhood and when things looked like they might have gotten them together Lexie has had problems since her father died right before they graduated from high school and she did not follow Riley to New York where he went to college. They both thought about each other and then after he graduates college he comes home for a little bit before opening his own shop in New York only to be arrested for having stolen auto parts in his shop and he ends up doing five years. Not having seeing each other in five years and he has not talked to his father either. He gets a phone call from his mother and finds out his dad had a heart attack. Meanwhile after a few days back he runs into Lexie and though she does not want to see him she needs to she has something to tell him. Also when they do see each the feelings they had for each other really never left but she is scared and he must win back her trust but she must also overcome her fears that started when her father died. A very good true to life love story that does not get settle right away, also emotional as well. A very good book. With good characters. I got this book from Netgalley. I gave it 5 stars.
