Cassidy Ryder does not take crap from anyone that includes the men from her father motorcycle club Brothers of Mayhem. With her father in prison for killing her mother. Now she is trying to save her brother from joining the club, but she is getting nowhere. She is doing a good job at destroying the bar and new president is tired of it. A new guy named Thorn ends up pulling her out and they become a couple because if not he feels she will get killed after much uglier things are done to her first. As he is trying to protect her she is falling for the guy, he is noticing how strong she is and is starting to become more attracted to her. She feels that there is something off with Thorn. He does not treat her like men should treat women from the club, like dirt. The more you get into the story you see how they are drawn to each other and the more he finds out about her life the more he is falling in love with her. When you get towards the end of the book that is when everything starts to close up. The story lines that is. This is a good book with some twist at the end that make for a good story.
