Interview.
Ever
since I can remember, I have always enjoyed Creative Writing. There was always
something about being able to travel to a different place or become a different
person with just the stroke of a pen - or in today's world a touch of the
keyboard. I am the author of The Exception To The Rule, An Unplanned Lesson, An
Unplanned Life and Drowning In Love, A Cry for Hope, A Will To Change, Blind
Side of Love, When The Chips Are Down and Easy Silence.
My life is not as interesting as my books or the characters in them, but then again whose life is? I'm a mom of twin teenage boys, a crazy Border Collie and a cat with an identity crisis! I guess you can say writing is my form of Calgon!

From: When the Chips Are Down
“I had a lot of fun last night. Who would have thought?” I teased, hoping he didn’t realize just how hard I was checking him out, silently scolding myself for comparing him to my ex. Alec was handsome in a perfect haircut, clean-shaven, and expensive designer suit kind of way. But Ben… He was sexy in a rugged, manly sort of way. His wavy hair was wild, he always looked like he hadn’t shaved in days, and he flawlessly pulled off a simple pair of Levi’s and a T-shirt. Not to mention those well-built arms and broad chest underneath it all.
“Now, why would you have thought otherwise?”
“Don’t know. Maybe I was just expecting that jerky kid from high school.”
He nodded. “Was I really that bad to you?”
“Hello? Smellanie?! Need I say more?”
He smiled and nodded. “Maybe I did that because I secretly liked you.”
“Oh, yeah, you secretly liked me. Ben Wilder, the guy who could have any girl he wanted, liked little old Smellanie Hanson.”
“Maybe because he thought that Smellanie was cute as hell.”
“Then why didn’t he ever let her know that?”
“I think he’s kinda letting her know that now…and why the hell are we talking in third person?”
