From National Bestselling author M. Malone comes a tale about broken dreams, determination and the healing power of love. Get caught up in the magic in the newest installment of The Alexanders series.
Because in the Alexander family, if we love you then you're one of us.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Matt Simmons is over Army doctors poking him. But when his sister won't stop nagging him to see their old babysitter, now a sought after physical therapist, he gives in just to get some peace.
Penny is finally putting down roots after a lifetime of moving around. She’s got everything she wants, except the settled suburban life she longs for. All she needs is the perfect guy, which means NO military men.
When Matt realizes that his old babysitter is h-o-t, he’s suddenly seeing the benefits of therapy. But Penny still sees him as the bratty kid she used to babysit.
Suddenly he has a new mission in life…
WARNING
The book contains an elderly lothario, a heroine who's not afraid to get in your face, and the kind of sex therapy that med school doesn't teach.
MY REVIEW:
He’s the Man is an M. Malone family saga series about
the Alexander’s. There are the loving
heads of this family Julia and Mark and they have 4 sons: Bennett, Elliott
(Eli), Nicholas (Nick) Married to Raina, Jackson married to Ridley (sister to
Raina). Now the boys Jackson was dorm mates
at college with Trent Townsend (boyfriend to Mara Simmons), and Matt Simmons
(Twin brother to Mara also at college with the boys & Nick).
Now I feel
better I have given you all the players so when you start reading the story you
have a cheat sheet. Although you can
start anywhere in one of these books and it can stand alone. I love all the characters you can get pulled
in very easily. At least I can. I might be a push over, I love books a
lot. I really want to be in a characters
mind and soul right away and with this I am.
I am always a sucker for a hunky war hero that is hurting and needs
help. Well, this had it all plus a good
storyline and cast of characters to support it.
This is a
story of Matt Simmons who is trying to get back to active duty as a Specials
Forces after an extreme shoulder injury that surgery did not fix. So, after almost a year his twin sister makes
him an appointment for a physical therapist and turns out that it is an old
babysitter of theirs from their childhood.
Really not wanting to go he does and the appointment does not go very
well on the first day because of his anger issues over not being back to
100%. Once he sucks it up and makes
amends things go a lot better. He then
starts to see her in a new light and finds out just how well he likes her as a
woman.
She sees him
as an attractive man too and not that 9 year old bratty kid. Which makes for a sticky situation for Penny
(Penelope) Lewis for she is not that pudgy older teen babysitter anymore. But, somehow right now she feels like that
when she sees him for the first time on her exam table without his shirt. This book only gets better from there. Eli also comes in with a little excitement
with Kaylee Wilhelm the singer he is hired to protect and a friend of the
family that he is beginning to have feelings for. This is a fun fast read. Provided by netgally.com
